Job purpose

Nairobi Adventist Hospital is a faith-based institution committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services guided by Christian values of integrity, compassion, and excellence.

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Human Resource Officer to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting HR operations and ensuring the effective implementation of the hospital’s people management policies and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.

2. Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.

3. Coordinate performance management and staff welfare programs.

4. Ensure compliance with labour laws and HR best practices.

5. Handle employee relations and provide guidance to staff and supervisors.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management or CHRP certification is an added advantage.

Member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) with a valid practicing certificate.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a busy HR environment, preferably in a healthcare or service sector.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Nairobi Adventist Hospital (NAH), a leading faith-based healthcare institution committed to providing compassionate, high-quality and holistic care, invites applications from qualified and dedicated professionals for the position of Clinical Officer Optometry.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct eye examinations and vision assessments.
Diagnose and manage common eye conditions within scope of practice.
Prescribe corrective lenses where authorized.
Identify and refer patients requiring specialist eye care.
Educate patients on eye health and preventive care.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of optometry equipment.
Participate in eye screening and outreach activities.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
Comply with hospital policies, professional standards, and infection prevention procedures
 

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery with relevant training/specialization in Optometry/Ophthalmology from a recognized institution.
Valid registration and practicing license with the relevant professional regulatory body.
More than 3 years experience in an eye clinic or hospital setting
Good communication, interpersonal, clinical assessment and patient-care skills
